Octagon Property Management
OPM manages your building and tenancy on behalf of your landlord. As the property manager, some of our responsibilities include: collecting rent, scheduling maintenance work, and working with tenants regarding their lease terms and renewal.

Rent
Rent is due on the first of each month. Rent can be paid by check or money order and must be made payable to your landlord, Kent St South LLC. Please include your building and apartment number in the memo section of the check.
Payment can be mailed to: Kent St South LLC, PO Box 1997, Brookline, MA 02446. Payment can also be dropped in the Octagon Properties drop box located in the front foyer at 829 Beacon St, Boston.
Utilities
Upon move-in, you will need to contact various providers to switch the utilities to your name. See our attached list of Important Phone Numbers for common utility company contact information.
Apartment & Building Maintenance
It is important that tenants report all maintenance requests promptly. Submitting requests through our website will yield the fastest response; however maintenance requests can also be submitted through the property management office by calling (617) 236-5687.

Laundry
Each apartment is equipped with in-unit laundry.
Trash
Trash & Recycling are located in the parking lot. Trash must be in sealed plastic bags and placed in the designated trash barrels. All boxes must be broken down neatly placed in trash area.
Parking
The city of Brookline has strict on-street parking policies. We recommend visiting their websiteto review these policies.
Parking in the adjacent lot is available for rent on a first come, first serve basis for a monthly fee. If you are interested in a parking space, please contact Octagon Properties at (617) 236-5687 for more information.
Do not park in any unauthorized areas. You will be towed at your own expense.
Bike Racks
There is a bicycle rack located beside 52 Kent St. Feel free to leave your bikes locked to this rack at your own risk.

- Please do not leave trash or recyclables in the hallways or common areas. A fine will be charged for trash or boxes left anywhere other than the designated trash or recycling areas.
- Cleanliness and neatness of individual units and common areas help maintain a pest-free residence. All buildings are treated at least once monthly for preventative pest control.
- Be cautious regarding items you dispose of in your toilet. Our plumbing systems are not equipped to handle anything other than toilet paper and human waste. Disposal of sanitary napkins, moist towelettes, etc., down the toilet may result in clogged toilets, which then overflow and can damage your bathroom and potentially the unit below. If water does get on the floor, put towels down immediately to prevent damage.
- Report any leaks to the management office immediately.
- Tenants are responsible for replacing light bulbs inside their unit.
