Who do I make my rent check payable to and what are my payment options?
Rent is due on or before the 1st of the month. Your rent payment should be made payable to your landlord,

There are several options for paying your rent. You can:

Mail a check or money order to: 829 Beacon St, Suite B, Boston 02215

Issue a payment through your bank's automatic bill-pay system and request to have the check mailed to our PO Box

Drop a check or money order off at our office, located at 829 Beacon St, Suite B, Boston during regular business hours

Drop a check or money order in the drop box in the front foyer of 829 Beacon St. The drop box is the silver box located just below the resident mailboxes. You can access the drop box 24-hours a day.
How does my heat work?
You have forced hot water steam radiator heat. The heating system for your apartment is based on a centralized system; when it reaches a certain temperature outside, the system turns on. You do not have the ability to control the heat in your unit.
If you think that your heat is not working, contact the management office at 617-236-5687; or, if it is outside of regular business hours, contact the 24-hour emergency maintenance service at 781-642-1565.
I have a maintenance issue in my apartment, what should I do?

Octagon Properties maintenance staff operates from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. If you submit this form after 5pm on a business day, your request will be processed the following business day.
A 24-hour emergency maintenance line operates outside regular business hours. You should only use this service for emergency situations. An emergency is considered: broken or damaged lock on apartment door or windows, a leak causing damage to your apartment or a neighboring apartment, issues concerning smoke or carbon monoxide detectors, no heat, or no hot water. Call 781-642-1565 for our emergency service.
If you smell gas in your apartment, call your gas utility provider immediately. If you are experiencing a power outage that you do not believe is localized to your apartment, contact your electricity provider.
Do you have parking spaces for rent?
Yes! We have parking space for rent in our private lot located behind the building. The spaces are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Call the management office at 617-236-5687 for availability and rates.
I lost my keys, what do I do now?
Contact the management office at 617-236-5687. If your key was lost or stolen, we will explain the process of how we will issue you a new key.
I have a friend who is looking for an apartment; can I refer them to you directly?
Yes! Your friend can call the management office directly or fill out a rental inquiry
